Topic: Single’s Day

Organizers: Girls from Dorm 301

Time:7:30 p.m-9:20 p.m

Venue: the 2nd floor of canteen

Participants: English majors, foreign teachers and Chinese teacher, Ms. Xu Si huang

Objectives: To bring students a chance to talk about their emotion world

Programs

(7:30-7:32)Welcoming.

The host introduces the teachers  students  topic and arrangments---------The host

(7:35-7:45) Grouping

Participants are divided into 3 groups and three organizers will be the leaders of each group. Each group comes from English majors of 2-3 dorms according to the phonetics instructing groups. And teachers can join each group--------------------------------------------The host

(8:00-8:30)  Games.

1.Don’t be left as a single one game

According to the number the host announce students should embrace together in the same number.If you are single ,you will be out of the game.

2.Guess guess guess

The host describes something and student should guess what it is.--------------------------------Each group

3.Pass the scarf

Pass two scarves in circle at the same time.If the host announce stop,you have two scarves,you must be punished.Foreigh teachers can ask you 3 questions,and you must answer them.-------------------------All participants

4.Play the piano

Teachers are pianists,and students are keys.Every student represents one word.When the teacher read the word which the student represents,the student should jump!If the student react too slow,he must be out of the game.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------All participants

Three leaders will organize each group to talk about the students’ emotion world.

SUB-TOPICS:

1.      Tell us if the college students should fall in love.

2.      Do you want to fall in love with someone?Why?

3.      What kind of boy (girl) is your ideal match?

(8:55 -9:15): Presentation

Ask 2-3 groups to present their opinions on the topic (Every member of the group should say something).
