Topic: The parents’ love
Organizers: Girls from Dorm 210
Time:7:30p.m-9:40p.m
Venue: the 2nd floor of canteen
Participants: English majors, foreign teachers and Chinese teacher, Ms. Cui Beibei
Objectives:To bring students a chance torealize how much their parents love them and get to understand parents and try to do something for theirparents.

Participants are divided into 5 groupsand five organizerswill be the leaders of each group. Each group comes from English majors of 2-3 dorms according to the phonetics instructing groupings. And teachers can join each group-----------------------------------The host and other five organizers(8:10-8:30)Vocabulary Game:Words solitaire
Thehost gives a word “LOVE” to the first student of each, then the first student should a word begin with “E”. Next the second student should give the word with the first letter as the same as the one of the last letterof the word which the former student gives. Each member of grouop takes turns to do the words solitaire. Five leaders will organize each group to talk about the parents’ love.
SUB-TOPICS:
l One of the most impressive things that your parents have done or is doing for you.
l The thing which you have done to your parents, but now you feel regret most.
l What you will do to cherish or value the parents’ love?
l Imagine you have children, what will you do to love your kids, and what will you expect your kids to be.

Each group should recommend 3-5 persons to present their opinions on the topic.
